Jim Youngblood

Jim was born and raised in White House, Tennessee. He attended Volunteer State Community College where he attained his Associates of Science Degree and Critical Care Paramedic license. He later received a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Cumberland University and became a Registered Nurse. These educational experiences opened many opportunities for him to serve the greater Nashville community with the Portland Fire Department, Sumner County Emergency Medical Service, and Vanderbilt LifeFlight. Jim spent over five years as a flight crew member for LifeFlight prior to coming to The DeSelms Team.

Having a servant’s heart, Jim has loved his successful career in medicine; however, as a child he was raised around new home construction and real estate. This background has given him another natural avenue in which to serve you. In many ways, being a critical care nurse and paramedic has prepared him for a career in real estate because he has a very clear appreciation for stressful situations and an understanding of making important decisions under deadlines.

Jim lives in Franklin and when he is not helping his clients, Jim enjoys hunting, fishing, relaxing on the family farm, and playing with his son, Sterling. He also is an avid golfer and a passionate outdoorsman.
