Real Estate and Neighborhood Information: Sylvan Park
The charming Sylvan Park neighborhood is located southwest of downtown Nashville, between Charlotte Pike and West End Avenue. While it offers the appeal of a well-established neighborhood in a beautiful natural environment, it's only a short drive from downtown. That makes it a convenient area for those who commute to the city.
This community-oriented neighborhood is mostly residential, but has shops, restaurants, and greenery to enjoy. With tree-lined sidewalks, the neighborhood makes it easy to go for an early morning run or sunset stroll. Also in the neighborhood is McCabe Park, which has the McCabe Golf Course and Richland Creek Greenway, as well as the McCabe Community Center, one of the city's most well-equipped community centers. Additionally, nearby is Richland Park and Richland Country Club. Like other areas in Nashville, Sylvan Park has seen a boom in recent years. That means prospective homebuyers will find a selection of new construction homes. Still, Sylvan Park preserves its quaint atmosphere by maintaining a wide range of 1920s weatherboard homes and 1930s stone bungalows.
